35 before 35

I once made a list of things to do before turning 30.  I have no idea where it went, and I think I did two things on it.  Turning 35 in January 2012, with the need to focus on something other than the family addition, I felt compelled to make another list.  Most of it's self serving and subject to change.  So what?
  1. Undertake something specific to work on my Spanish.  Leaving the Spanish dictionary open on the living room console doesn't count.
  2. Update the pictures in our frames.  Most haven't changed since 2004.  No wonder I look so youthful.
  3. Implement a cleaning/chore schedule of some sort.  This will floor Brett.
  4. Make an emergency kit.
  5. Make a Christmas tree skirt in the Below family's tradition.
  6. Run a 10K after Sanjay comes out.  Not right after, but at some point.
  7. Master 3 super delicious meals in the slow cooker with no more than 5 ingredients.
  8. #7, meal 2
  9. #7, meal 3
  10. Eat 5 things off Time Out New York's 100-best-things-we-ate-this-year list.
  11. #10, item 2
  12. #10, item 3
  13. #10, item 4
  14. #10, item 5
  15. Take an interesting self portrait.
  16. Go to the LES Tenement Museum.
  17. Finish reading all the Harry Potter books before the last movie.  This one's ambitious.  I'm still on #4
  18. Harry Potter 5.
  19. Harry Potter 6.
  20. Harry Potter 7.
  21. Replace all the knobs on the bedroom furniture in such a manner that I love looking at it.
  22. Bring home a Momofuku crack pie to share with friends.
  23. Put together an outfit that does justice to the vintage super-long disco era earrings I just scored, and wear it.
  24. Go to the beach this summer.
  25. Get a blowout for no reason.
  26. #25 again.
  27. Purge a whole closet shelf.
  28. Purge a drawer.
  29. Put a good plant at my desk.
  30. Make D her baby book before another baby comes.  Or maybe after he comes.
  31. Cook an Indian meal.
  32. Picnic this summer.
  33. Get an immersion blender for smoothies.
  34. Go to City Island.
  35. Go on vacation with two kids.
